How Catalyst Connected a Local CIC with the Right Creative Partner to Bring Their Vision Online
Body Mind Collective CIC is a community-focused organisation dedicated to improving the physical and emotional wellbeing of Sandwell residents. Led by founder Bryony Morris, the CIC offers inclusive yoga, movement, and wellbeing sessions designed to be accessible to people of all ages, backgrounds, abilities, and identities.
As the organisation grew, its digital presence no longer reflected its mission. Bryony’s existing website, originally built during lockdown under her personal brand “Bryony Morris Yoga”, had become outdated and difficult for users to navigate. Despite over 200 yearly transactions, most clients still booked sessions manually via text or email, limiting the organisation’s ability to grow sustainably.
Through the Catalyst network, Bryony connected with Nate Sheridan, a Sandwell-based website designer who specialises in supporting community organisations. Nate immediately recognised the potential of Body Mind Collective and the importance of creating a digital platform that truly reflected its values of community, compassion, and equity.
Working closely together, Nate and Bryony began to map out a new website designed around three core goals:
- Improving accessibility and removing barriers to participation
- Increasing online bookings through a clear, intuitive user experience
- Establishing Body Mind Collective as a trusted wellbeing hub for Sandwell

Using the detailed brief provided by Bryony, Nate developed a modern, responsive WordPress website, integrating BookWhen for seamless online booking and adding accessibility tools that comply with WCAG standards. The site was built with growth in mind, allowing for future features such as live-streamed classes, an online video library, e-learning programmes, and an eventual online shop.
The partnership was built on open communication, co-design, and a shared understanding of community needs. Bryony provided imagery, content, and strategic direction, while Nate shaped the structure, design, and functionality. The result was a warm, welcoming digital presence that reflected Body Mind Collective’s mission to improve health and wellbeing across Sandwell.
The collaboration shows how Catalyst helps make impactful connections—linking local CICs with skilled professionals who understand their values and ambitions. By bringing together talent and purpose, Catalyst supports organisations like Body Mind Collective to grow, reach more people, and strengthen local community wellbeing.
